It’s official! The 12th annual NYC Zombie Crawl will be hitting Coney Island on Saturday June 30th!! Festivities include a crawl through the New York Aquarium and the NY debut of D.D. Allin and the Market Street Sluts featuring Nadia White in her tribute to the late great GG Allin!! Our ghoulish friends Jess-O-Lantern and Screamin Rebel Angels will also be returning to perform with more TBA!
We will be meeting up at 2pm at Kitchen 21 instead of the regular 4pm because we’re partying on a SATURDAY this time! Afterparty at 7:30pm at the FORMER Peggy O’Neill’s – STEEPLECHASE BEER GARDEN at MCU Park!!!
Schedule for Sat June 30th
2-4:30pm – FREE Zombie Meet-up at Kitchen 21 (3052 W 21st St, Brooklyn, NY 11224)
Drink specials from Pabst Blue Ribbon and makeup stations starting at $10 with the FX team from the Haunt at Rocky Ledge!
4:30p-5pm – Zombies crawl down the Coney Island Boardwalk!
5pm – 7pm – Zombies crawl through the NY AQUARIUM (602 Surf Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11224) -It’s Shark v Zombie! Zombies will get to witness OPENING DAY of the latest exhibit to the Aquarium – OCEAN WONDERS – SHARKS!! Zombies will need to pay admission to the Aquarium (Approx $15, we’re waiting on them to announce the new admission fee).
We have been informed that they will not let any zombies who are too horrific or bloody into the Aquarium (I’m looking at you Maggots) so if you plan on coming in with us please do not go overboard on the makeup because it is an all ages venue and we can’t scare the kids. In fact we’re going to be crawling on a boardwalk on the beach in the summer so it’s probably a good idea for everyone to keep the makeup light so you don’t sweat it off and are comfortable for the entire day – we have a long one!
