Greetings Boils and Ghouls!

The first big event for year 11 for the NYC Zombie Crawl will be on SUNDAY JULY 2ND with our annual Brooklyn Zombie Crawl! We’re proud to announce our after party headliners, the insane video collective / variety show EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE! with their first area show on the East Coast since 2015! The EIT! live experience! is like nothing you have ever seen – You will leave a new and better person! This NYC Zombie Crawl exclusive show will feature 2 never-before-seen sneak peeks at upcoming EIT! projects!

Advance tickets are on sale now for $20 – they will be $25 on the day of show / $22 for Zombies!




 

We’ll be starting at 4pm at THE CHARLESTON (174 Bedford Ave) with our zombie makeup stations and a Zombie Pizza Party – free pizza with every drink – drink specials from Pabst Blue RibbonAt 6:30pm, Zombies will depart and hit the streets in a fake blood fueled frenzy, taking over Bedford Avenue and heading to MCCARREN PARK for some Zombie Games to celebrate independence and the July 4th weekend and then to another area bar (TBA) for a pit stop between 7-8pm.

At 8:30pm, the zombie horde will head to BROOKLYN BAZAAR for the legendary afterparty hosted by Sgt Kabukiman NYPD, Zac Amico and the Troma Team and featuring tons of cool video fueled entertainment featuring some world premiere clips, live music, sideshow and burlesque into a zombie themed variety show starring :

Everything Is Terrible! has altered the consciousness of a generation, one re-edited VHS video at a time! For nearly a decade, EIT! has introduced the world to their true selves through psychedelic comedy video gems such as the dancing child-god Duane, the pedophile-stomping yellow dino, French pubic hair styling, cat massage, and so much more! And now… with the inimitable EIT! live experience, YOU, the viewer get to unplug your internet brain and plug in your spirit molecule! EIT! will hold your sweaty, trembling, little hand as they guide you through the 7 sacred realms of Terrible found video! As always, the Everything Is Terrible! figureheads will appear in their glittered and fur-covered, melted flesh to massage your dead soul as you laugh like you’ve never laughed before! And don’t forget to bring your Jerry Maguire VHS tapes… You’re gonna need em!

J and the 9’s – NYC Zombie Crawl favorites have played with us for the last three years and are a female fronted band breeding together rock and roll riffs, the raw sound and agility of punk, lyrical spontaneity, glam visuals, a rock flute and a very interactive stage show!

Uncle Jake and the 18 Wheel Gang – Featured in ‘Cut Shoot Kill’ as the house band, Uncle Jake brings rock n’ roll with a bluegrass jug band / deep south feel!

Jess-O-Lantern – This spooky songstress performs acoustic horror punk tunes! For lovers of Halloween, ghosts, ghouls, and free trick-or-treat candy!

Sideshow Performances from Dr. Claw of the Coney Island Sideshow & Joe Lunchbox of DisGraCeLand Family Freakshow!

As well as tons of sneak previews exclusive to the NYC Zombie Crawl!

Return to Return to Nuke Em High Vol 2 Sneak Preview with the Troma Team – The surprise indie hit at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival is the explosive conclusion to Lloyd Kaufman’s inspired two-part indie event film. Lauren and Chrissy, two lesbian lovers, must face and defeat the most corrupt and evil forces ever to descend upon Tromaville… and the world!

Kabukiman’s Cocktail Corner Season 2 Sneak Preview – The world’s weirdest variety show has it’s long awaited Season 2 premiere on Monday, July 3rd on the Troma Networks and the NYC Zombie Crawl will host its first sneak preview! Join Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD as he ingests alcoholic beverages, chats with some truly independent artists, and enjoys musical performances in this exclusive Troma web series.

Cut Shoot Kill Sneak Preview – Sneak preview of the latest horror/thriller from Backseat Conceptions and director Michael Walker (Jeff Daniels’ ‘Chasing Sleep’) Serena Brooks, an ambitious young actress, signs on as the star of a horror film with a crew of backwoods filmmakers that have worked together for years. When the cast starts disappearing, Serena has to become her character if she wants to survive.

And more madness TBA! And don’t forget to bring your VHS copies of Jerry Macguire to add to the Jerry Macguire Pyramid!

Also we just got back from the Cannes Film Festival where we joined forces with the Cannes Zombie Walk to promote Return to Return to Nuke Em High aka Vol 2! The movie is epic and you will get a taste at the NYC Zombie Crawl on July 2nd!

May 31st – 9th Annual NYC Zombie Crawl in Brooklyn!

DJ Update! We will have Michael T and Twig the Wonderkid spinning 80’s nu wave and rock at our Zombie Pizza Dance Party at the Charleston from 7-8pm and at the afterparty we will have DJ Tim No37 spinning his final set ever as a DJ along with DJ Tim T!

The time is drawing nearer and the details are sorted out, get ready to take Williamsburg for a 9th year! Here’s all the info! The NYC Zombie Crawl is back for its 9th annual lurch around Williamsburg on Sunday, May 31st! The zombie shenanigans will culminate at the after party at 8:30pm featuring a Zombie Skateboarding Demo crawl and Zombie Costume Contest with a $200 cash prize at BLACK BEAR BAR (70 N. 6th St, Brooklyn, NY)! We’ll be awarding prizes for Most Original Zombie, Best Special FX, Bloodiest Zombie, Sexiest Zombie and more! So come in your zombie best! The afterparty as always will include live music, comedians, zombie burlesque, sideshow performances and more!

The NYC Zombie Crawl will begin at 4pm at BAR MATCHLESS (557 Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn NY) with our usual FREE zombie meet-up! You must be 21+ to enter the bar and for 2 and 1/2 hours, zombies are invited to hang out while our zombie technicians will be providing makeup for civilians who wish to become undead for a small fee (starting at $5). Drink specials will be provided all day and night by Pabst Blue Ribbon and Jagermeister! We’ll also have zombies and killers from ‘The Haunt At Rocky Ledge‘ assisting with makeup!!

At 6:30pm, Zombies will depart and roam through the wild streets of Williamsburg, first through McCarren Park for a Zombie photo opportunity before heading to a zombie pitstop to be determined! ZOMBIE PIZZA DANCE PARTY UPDATE: at 7pm-8pm, Zombies will make a pitstop at THE CHARLESTON (174 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211) for drink specials from PBR and Jager and FREE PIZZA for every drink!! And Michael T and Twig the Wonderkid will spinning 80’s nu wave and rock!

Then at 8:30pm we’ll reach the Zombie Afterparty at BLACK BEAR BAR (70 N. 6th St)  Free entry and Skate Demo in the front room but if you want to see the show in the glorious new back room, $12 for zombies or in advance, $14 for humans! 21+ to enter, with performances including musical guests:

DAVE HILL: Host of WFMU’s ‘The Goddamn Dave Hill Show’ performs with massively metal comedy musical stylings!

UNICORN SMACK: A funky dance music duo, get ready for some good old fashioned, unpretentious, afrocentric booty shakin’ fun. Laughing plus dancing equals Unicorn Smack!

SPARKLEFIGHT: Three hilarious dudes that like to play sleazy, fun punk rock tunes at your expense!

BLKVAMPIRES: The NYC Zombie Crawl welcomes some Vampire friends into the mix rocking some hard alternative gothic soul!

We also have special guest LLOYD KAUFMAN, President of Troma Entertainment and creator of ‘The Toxic Avenger’ appearing to give a sneak preview of the new talk show from TROMA – ‘KABUKIMAN’s COCKTAIL CORNER‘!

DJ Tim No 37 will be mixing metal and classic rock tunes all night in his final DJ set EVER along with DJ Tim T! Other entertainment includes:
-ZOMBIE SKATEBOARDING DEMO: Black Bear Bar has a full skate bowl within the venue and we’ll have some skaters shredding it!
BURLESQUE at it’s bloody finest with STEPHANIE ANDERS and ZUZU ZOMBI!

KEVIN AND MATT GEEK OUT ABOUT ZOMBIES will present “The ZOSCARS” (awarding their favorite clips in zombie movies) and also help us host the ZOMBIE COSTUME CONTEST where we will be presenting awards for categories including most original, most bloody, best SPFX and more! Prizes include $200 in cash and more from our sponsors Pabst Blue Ribbon, Halloween Adventure, Troma Entertainment, Backseat Conceptions and others!

Wrap: 8th Annual Manhattan Events Complete! Stripping Dead coming to Chicago Oct 29-31

Greeting Boils and Ghouls!

That’s a wrap on our 8th seasonal NYC Zombie Crawl in Manhattan! With a main crawl every Spring in Brooklyn and every Fall in Manhattan, that brings our grand total up to 16 main events in eight years! Not to mention all the zombie beauty pageants, amusement park nights, baseball games, eating contests, strip clubs, movie premieres, book signings and other fun events we’ve hosted and co-produced over the years. And we’re not done yet!

We still have a few special events in store before the end of the year starting with the 5th annual Night of the Stripping Dead events at the Admiral Theater in Chicago October 29-31st. We’ll be coordinating makeup for the dancers and crew and a few special surprises that you’ll have to attend to see! Check out the videos from the past year’s events in the post below this one!

October 11th NYC Zombie Crawl takes Manhattan w/ NY Comic Con!

Greetings Boils and Ghouls!

We’re gearing up for our 8th annual crawl around Manhattan this Saturday, October 11th! It’s the first time one of our main events is taking place on a Saturday and it’s also an after party for NY Comic Con so expect to see a lot more ghoulish faces this year! Expect drink specials and zombie action all afternoon into the next morning!

Some event updates:
– Drink specials from Pabst Blue Ribbon ($3) and Jagermeister ($6 shots) at all the venues!
– Discounted admission to Times Scare NY Haunted Attraction for Zombies! ($16)
– FREE Bowling for Zombies at Bowlmor Lanes!
– All the venues are FREE to enter, the only admission is if you want to check out the entertainment at Bowlmor Lanes in the Carnival section!
– HOT Zombie Costume Contest at the end of the night – Winners will recieve a prize pack from The Walking Dead, Pabst, Jagermeister and the Grand Prize will receive their own CUSTOM ZOMBIE BOBBLEHEAD (see below)- Prizes valued at over $400 total!

From 6:30-7p the Zombies crawl to:
TIMES SCARE (FREE – 669 8th Ave at 42nd St) for some ZOMBIE BURLESQUE BY ROSALEE SWEET of the PEEK-A-BOO REVUE & STEPHANIE ANDERS – You must be 21+ to sit at the Kill Bar but the venue and haunt is All Ages and admission to the haunted attraction is almost Half Price for Zombies! ($16)

At 8pm, we head out to crawl through Times Square to the NYC ZOMBIE AFTERPARTY AT 8:30pm at:
BOWLMOR LANES (222 W 44th St btwn 7th & 8th Ave, Manhattan)
FREE Entry to Venue and bar with drink and food specials! All Ages until 10pm!
FREE Bowling for zombies!!
Admission for bands and entertainment in the Carnival Section is 21+ only, $13 for zombies, $15 for humans

Another amazing NYC Zombie Crawl! Thanks again to all who crawled with us!
