BANG-ON Halloween Warehouse of Horrors – 9p-6am – A spooktacular dance party in a secret East Williamsburg location (TBA when you buy tickets) dance all night and into the morning with this Halloween tradition! Featuring suspension performances from Skindicate Suspension as well as a Coney Island-style extravaganza featuring freaky performers, a bouncy castle, games, popcorn, cotton-candy and more!
BLOOD MANOR and TIMES SCARE NYC – Two great haunted attractions in Manhattan! Blood Manor is so scary they pride themselves on scaring the piss out of people, and Times Scare has one of the best haunted bars in NY! Check out the websites for showtimes all evening!
THE HAUNT AT ROCKY LEDGE – For those up in the Bronx and Yonkers, there is a haunt for you too in Westchester County! The final night is on Halloween!

May 31st – 9th Annual NYC Zombie Crawl in Brooklyn!

DJ Update! We will have Michael T and Twig the Wonderkid spinning 80′s nu wave and rock at our Zombie Pizza Dance Party at the Charleston from 7-8pm and at the afterparty we will have DJ Tim No37 spinning his final set ever as a DJ along with DJ Tim T!

The time is drawing nearer and the details are sorted out, get ready to take Williamsburg for a 9th year! Here’s all the info! The NYC Zombie Crawl is back for its 9th annual lurch around Williamsburg on Sunday, May 31st! The zombie shenanigans will culminate at the after party at 8:30pm featuring a Zombie Skateboarding Demo crawl and Zombie Costume Contest with a $200 cash prize at BLACK BEAR BAR (70 N. 6th St, Brooklyn, NY)! We’ll be awarding prizes for Most Original Zombie, Best Special FX, Bloodiest Zombie, Sexiest Zombie and more! So come in your zombie best! The afterparty as always will include live music, comedians, zombie burlesque, sideshow performances and more!

The NYC Zombie Crawl will begin at 4pm at BAR MATCHLESS (557 Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn NY) with our usual FREE zombie meet-up! You must be 21+ to enter the bar and for 2 and 1/2 hours, zombies are invited to hang out while our zombie technicians will be providing makeup for civilians who wish to become undead for a small fee (starting at $5). Drink specials will be provided all day and night by Pabst Blue Ribbon and Jagermeister! We’ll also have zombies and killers from ‘The Haunt At Rocky Ledge‘ assisting with makeup!!

At 6:30pm, Zombies will depart and roam through the wild streets of Williamsburg, first through McCarren Park for a Zombie photo opportunity before heading to a zombie pitstop to be determined! ZOMBIE PIZZA DANCE PARTY UPDATE: at 7pm-8pm, Zombies will make a pitstop at THE CHARLESTON (174 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211) for drink specials from PBR and Jager and FREE PIZZA for every drink!! And Michael T and Twig the Wonderkid will spinning 80′s nu wave and rock!

Then at 8:30pm we’ll reach the Zombie Afterparty at BLACK BEAR BAR (70 N. 6th St)  Free entry and Skate Demo in the front room but if you want to see the show in the glorious new back room, $12 for zombies or in advance, $14 for humans! 21+ to enter, with performances including musical guests:

DAVE HILL: Host of WFMU’s ‘The Goddamn Dave Hill Show’ performs with massively metal comedy musical stylings!

It’s year NINE for the NYC Zombie Crawl! The zombies are thawing once again and we’re gearing up for our 9th annual springtime crawl in Brooklyn on Sunday, May 31st! To warm up we have a few zombie events in April as follows:

Doug has been asked to be a guest speaker at Storycode, an open source immersive/cross-media maker-focused global organization. StoryCode hosts monthly seminars and events around the world, and this specific NY event is about Zombies off the screen! Doug will talk about the many ways the NYC Zombie Crawl works to engage and encourage audience participation at it’s various events over the last 9 years. Also speaking will be Mallory Wu of ‘Trapped in A Room With A Zombie‘ and Comedy Central’s ‘Broad City’!

The NYC Zombie Crawl will be creating zombies for a FREE super-fun, interactive disaster prep workshop! Run around TriBeCa, dodge the undead, and learn essential survival skills in a high-tech urban adventure. Each player will walk away with supplies for their personal emergency kits plus some ridiculous stories.  Designed for players age 2 – 92. Greeting Boils and Ghouls!

That’s a wrap on our 8th seasonal NYC Zombie Crawl in Manhattan! With a main crawl every Spring in Brooklyn and every Fall in Manhattan, that brings our grand total up to 16 main events in eight years! Not to mention all the zombie beauty pageants, amusement park nights, baseball games, eating contests, strip clubs, movie premieres, book signings and other fun events we’ve hosted and co-produced over the years. And we’re not done yet!

We still have a few special events in store before the end of the year starting with the 5th annual Night of the Stripping Dead events at the Admiral Theater in Chicago October 29-31st. We’ll be coordinating makeup for the dancers and crew and a few special surprises that you’ll have to attend to see! Check out the videos from the past year’s events in the post below this one!

Night of the Stripping Dead at the Admiral Theater in Chicago Oct 29-31st

At the end of the month of October the Night of the Stripping Dead will return for it’s 5th year to the Admiral Theater in Chicago – October 29-31st!!! For a few days every year, Chicago’s biggest vaudeville theatre turned strip club transforms into a sexy mausoleum filled with zombie strippers and ghouls. The Stripping Dead events showcase the most bizarre and insane in fetish, sideshow and burlesque performers from all over the world. Past events have included the biggest names in the fetish and burlesque world including Masumi Max, Mosh, Rubber Doll, Narcissister, Empress Stah, Maya Sinstress, Red Rum and so much more. The makeup for Stripping Dead is coordinated by Doug Sakmann of the NYC Zombie Crawl every year, with over 30 dancers, performers and staff turning into ghouls and zombies every night of the event.
