Greetings Boils and Ghouls!

Hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday season! We’re almost through 2020, here’s to a better 2021 for everyone! Here’s a quick flashback to some good times we have had with the NYC Zombie Crawl in this 10 year anniversary article in the NY Times from 2016!

We had such a good response to our #MutantsForHunger canned food drive in Queens, NY that we are going to be continuing to support the Food Bank for NYC with an ongoing food drive at the Bel Aire Diner & Drive In! In association with Troma Entertainment, we present Toxie’s Holiday Food Drive! You can drop off canned goods in-person at the Bel Aire Diner (31-91 21st Street, Queens NY 11106) 24 hours a day through the holiday season, and indefinitely! In exchange you can get a $1 Pabst Blue Ribbon, shot of Sailor Jerry Rum or a FREE can of Liquid Death Mountain Water!!

There is even a supermarket in the same parking lot so you can buy all kinds of canned goods and bring them over to the Diner for a good cause, and trade it for some discounted booze! The Diner serves food 24 hours a day so you can order or eat in (pending COVID regulations of course, you can call the diner to check their hours or order for delivery at 718 721 3160 or on their website at www.belairediner.nyc

And if you missed our screening of Troma’s latest masterpiece and director Lloyd Kaufman’s love letter to 2020 – #ShakespearesShitstorm – fear not! The movie is currently screening at virtual film festivals around the world so you can catch it again soon! Check out www.shakespearesshitstorm.com for screening info, reviews and more on this incredibly Tromatic take on Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’!

The zombies are going into hibernation for the winter season – hopefully we will be able to have some kind of events in 2021 – until we bleed again have a killer holiday!

Very Truly

Greetings Zombies! To those who have survived 2020 so far, we salute you!

We’ve been working for months to figure a socially distant way to bring our undead hoarde together and we have found it! The NYC Zombie Crawl has teamed up the legendary Bel Aire Diner and Troma Entertainment, the oldest indie movie studio in the world to bring retro horror and some of director Lloyd Kaufman‘s finest work to the public all October in Queens NY! And we are also hosting a canned food drive with the Food Bank for NYC at the same time with #MUTANTSFORHUNGER!

Have a spooktacular good time with dinner and a movie at the Bel Aire Drive-In and Diner! Get out of the house and have some socially distant fun with tricks, treats and tickets in advance at www.BelAireDiner.nyc !

We are also working to provide help to New Yorkers in need, with a Canned Food Drive for the homeless. The Bel Aire Diner is hosting a donation drop box for the Food Bank of NYC where you can donate canned food 24 hours a day – every single day in October!

Also, when you donate canned goods during any screening event you can get a $1 beer from Pabst Blue Ribbon or shot of Sailor Jerry Rum, or a free can of water from Liquid Death Mountain Water! Before you visit the Bel Aire next time, grab a few cans of food from your cabinet or from the store and donate! Every little bit helps! And you’ll be rewarded with booze!
