7th Annual Brooklyn Zombie Crawl on Sunday, June 2nd!

The zombie crawl returns to the Williamsburg area on Sunday, June 2nd for a full day and night of our usual zombie apocalypse! And we’ve got the dark cabaret musical styling of special guest Aurelio Voltaire (here some of his music HERE) at the afterparty! 5/30 UPDATES: Our official DJ for the afterparty is DJ Legend Tim No 37! Also added to the bill is skate/punk solo artist Mark ToxicLife at the Knitting Factory opening party as well as the unique “Hood Metal” musical stylings of Xombie at the after party along with flesh pulls from DisGraCeLand Hook Squad!! Alsop Open Bar at the afterparty from Pabst Blue Ribbon and Sailor Jerry at 9pm and crazy drink specials day and all night!

We’re starting at 3pm at Knitting Factory Brooklyn (361 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211) with our usual FREE zombie meet-up! It’s an all age event (you must be 21+ to enter the Bar room) the bar and for 2 and 1/2 hours, zombies are invited to hang out while our zombie technicians will be providing makeup for civilians who wish to become undead for a small fee (starting at $5). We’ll have drink specials from Pabst Blue Ribbon and Sailor Jerry all afternoon and a photo booth from Snap Yourself NYC!

At 5:30pm, Zombies will roam down Bedford Ave to McCarron Park for our annual photo opportunity as well as some zombie fun and games. At 6:45pm we’ll be making a pit stop for some zombie refueling (Location TBA).
Then at 8pm we’ll head to Public Assembly (70 North 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211) for the NYC Zombie Crawl after party ($13 if you are a zombie, $15 for civilians, 21 + only) featuring tons of bloody good fun including drink specials from Pabst and Sailor Jerry as well as;

- Live musical performances from Skeletal Life, Bikini Carwash & Xombie
- A special musical performance by AURELIO VOLTAIRE, bringing you a mix of ghoulish songs, dirty ditties and satirical ballads about murder, zombies, religion and pop-culture!
- RIGOR MORTIS REVUE – Horror burlesque at it’s dead sexiest!
- Sideshow performances from DisGraCeLand Family Freakshow!
- Strip for Pain: The WORLD’s Most Dangerous Game Show at Midnight!

BeetleJuice 25th Anniversary FREE screening with Tribeca Film Festival April 19th!

The Tribeca Film Festival has invited NYC Zombie Crawl to take part in a fun event for the whole family! On Friday, April 19th we’ll be at the World Financial Center in downtown Manhattan, right on the waterfront! From 6:00p-8:30p we will be doing ghoulish Beetle Juice inspired makeovers for free on the general public. At 8:30p there will be a Tim Burton themed costume contest and then Beetle Juice will be screening!

If you remember, we did a similar event with the Tribeca Film Festival for the 25th Anniversary of Thriller a few years back. Everyone had so much fun we’re doing it again with Beetle Juice!

Zombie Run in Philly April 7th, Zombie Rave 3 a success!!

Zombies are going to be running through FDR Park in Philadelphia on April 7th! Join the Zombie Run at 8am as either a human runner or a zombie! Form a team to evade the zombies and make it to the Quarantine party at the end! All the details are at www.thezombierun.com.

Hope everyone had an awesome holiday season! The NYC Zombie Crawl team is thawing out and getting ready for our Spring 2013 events which will mark our seventh year of undead events!
We will have our Springtime NYC Zombie Crawl event on Sunday, June 2nd this year in Brooklyn! And before that, on March 31st our 3rd of a series of Zombie Raves at Webster Hall presented by NYC Zombie Crawl!

The Zombie Rave returns to Webster Hall (125 E. 11th St in Manhattan) this Sunday, March 31st presented by NYC Zombie Crawl! You can expect the usual 1000 Gallons of Blood to be dumped off the balcony onto the crowd around Midnight! There is a $500 Zombie Dance Contest after Midnight, FREE zombie makeovers and more madness as well!

Next main NYC Crawl – May 27th in Brooklyn!

MAY 24th UPDATE: The time is almost upon us!  On top of all the madness we have Open Pabst Blue Ribbon and Sailor Jerry bars at both Trash Bar (4:30-5p) and Public Assembly (9:00-9:30p) and crazy drink specials from both all night! Also, we have DJ Fangbat returning to spin rock tunes between acts at the afterparty along with the comedic stylings of Gilbert Zombfried!

MAY 4th UPDATE:We are adding venues to the beginning of the crawl at 3:30pm with the main venue being moved to Trash Bar (256 Grand Street  Brooklyn, NY) with a secondary venue at Grand Victory! There is also another stop added at Spike Hill at 7pm with a free show from Nassau Chainsaw! All venues are 21+ and will have drink specials from Pabst Blue Ribbon and Sailor Jerry Rum! We’ve also announced more action for the afterparty, see below! Also, out-of-town zombies can stay at the NY Loft Hostel for $60, it’s right by the crawl!

The time is drawing near, the 6^th annual springtime NYC Zombie Crawl is returning to Williamsburg to invade Brooklyn! We’re going to have some previews of the upcoming Resident Evil 6 as well as some cool giveaways and contests that will be revealed soon.  The main events are all 21+ so look for some adult zombie fun this year! We’ll be announcing more acts for the after party soon too!

The NYC Zombie Crawl event on May 27th will go down as follows:

3:30pm -6:00pm – Trash Bar – (256 Grand Street) 21+ only – The first location where fans can meet up to become zombies through our zombie makeup artists and zombies who attend already made up can converge and get ready for the day’s festivities. We’ll have professional makeup artists on hand to provide makeup for a very small fee. Also drink specials and open bar TBA! There is also zombie action at Grand Victory (245 Grand St) with a live performance from Misfits cover band  Skeletal Life at 5pm!

6:00pm – Zombies will bleed again through the streets of Williamsburg, down Bedford Avenue to McCarren Park where we’ll have the usual zombie contests, raffles and giveaways and more surprises.

7:00pm – Spike Hill (186 Bedford Ave) – FREE show with Metal and Flesh Hooks by Nassau Chainsaw DisGraCeLand Demolition Committee and drink specials from Pabst!

8:30pm- NY Zombie Afterparty at Public Assembly (70 N 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11211) $12 for zombies, $15 for humans, 21 + only for tons of bloody good fun including drink specials and open bar TBA from Pabst and Sailor Jerry as well as;
- Live music from Bikini Carwash (9p) and Fucking Bullshit (9:45p)!
- Smut Cave – A live talk show featuring everyone’s favorite pervert, the Spleunker! Check a preview video below
- Live and Undead, the Rigor Mortis Revue will be providing zombie and horror burlesque!
- Previews of Resident Evil 6, the new video game from Capcom
